May 2017 goals

To me, goals are an important way to get focused. It mean’s I knuckle down and get on with things as I like to tick them off my list.

I am an achiever, I aim high and hate to fail.

Sometimes it can be a bit of a downfall as failure to reach it to me is seen as a fail.

That is just my mindset so instead I decide to embrace it.

Going forward every month I am going to set myself some goals. Some will be easy, others maybe a bit tougher.

I am going to be pushing myself each month that little bit further. Proving that with a little bit of grit and determination, anything is possible.

May goals:
  1. Earn £1000 – This is additional money away from my main source of income.
  2. Get this site up and running – We are fairly new and that is fine but I want to increase the profile of Savvy Squirrel. I want to be able to show people there is ways to save and make money from home.
  3. Reach 100 likes on all social media – Go on, go give us a like on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram 😀
  4. Stick to our food budget and reduce it – If you have read our previous post you will know we overspend on food, so this month is a good month to stop this!

As you can see, some of these goals are going to be a push. Others will be a bit easier, however completing any of them will give me a sense of achievement.

Starting small is a great way to go with goals, ticking them off as you achieve them.

As May already started, have you set any goals for the month? Leave me a comment below with your goals and I’d love for you to come back and share how you got on.
